Conor Kilgallen Profile

Conor Kilgallen is a qualified sport psychology consultant and hypnotherapist. He received his B.A. in Psychology from NUI, Galway and his M.Sc. in Sport Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University. In 2000 he received an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the ICHP in Ireland. Conor is a registered hypnotherapist with the ICHP and is also exclusively listed with the NCTC as a sport psychology service provider to elite athletes in Ireland.

Conor Kilgallen has a particular interest in the unique field of Sport Hypnosis. He is a special adviser in sport hypnosis/sport psychology to ICHP registered hypnotherapists, and in his own Tipperary-based clinic, Atlantic Hypnotherapy Clinic, he specialises in both sport hypnosis and smoking cessation.

In the field of sport psychology, Conor Kilgallen has worked successfully with athletes from various sports, including soccer, hurling, golf and snooker. He is also very interested in training coaches how to apply mental skills in their sport. Since the Autumn of 2002, Conor has taught a module in sport psychology to trainee soccer coaches at Dochas don Oige, Galway.
